3. Data Collection

We collect the following personal information for the purposes outlined below:

Teacher Training Students:

Name and Email Address: For communication and sharing resources related to the program. These may be shared with partner teachers or collaborators exclusively within the scope of the training.
Medical Information: To identify potential contraindications for yoga practice and ensure safety. This information is confidential and not shared with third parties.This information is stored securely in a physical file and/or digital format.
Video Recordings: Classes are recorded and uploaded to a Google Drive accessible only to registered training participants. Videos are deleted within six months of the program’s conclusion.

Yoga Class Students (Non-Teacher Training):

Medical Information: To ensure safety during practice and identify any contraindications. This information is confidential and not shared with third parties. This information is stored securely in a physical file and/or digital format.
Video Recordings: Some regular yoga classes are also recorded for internal purposes or for access by participants. Videos are securely stored and shared only with the students of the specific class. Videos are deleted within 7 days.

4. Use of Personal Information

Your personal information will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected:

Managing class registrations and attendance.
Providing personalized guidance based on medical information.
Facilitating teacher training programs, including resource sharing and communication.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. Personal data may be shared with:

Partner teachers or collaborators involved in the teacher training program.
No medical information is shared outside the Institut Yoga Essentiel team unless required by law.

6. Data Security

Institut Yoga Essentiel implements the following measures to protect your data:

Physical files are stored in a locked cabinet accessible only to Josephine Vittoria.
Digital data is secured with restricted access, including password-protected folders. Josephine uses encryption tools and ensures that sensitive information is stored in secured drives, such as Google Drive with two-factor authentication enabled.
Regular checks are conducted to ensure that only authorized individuals can access sensitive information.

7. Retention Periods

Medical forms are retained for one year following the last interaction with the student.
Videos are deleted six months after the completion of the teacher training program or 7 days after the yoga class (non-teacher training).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access, update, or delete your personal information.
Withdraw your consent for data collection or sharing.
File a complaint regarding data management practices.
